PARSHAR LAKE THE BEST PLACE TO VISIT IN MANDI ,HIMACHAL

Prasher lake, Mandi(Himachal Pardesh) -2020

 

On the High-altitude of 2730 meter, the lake is surrounded with a beautiful scenery.  This lake famous and unique as this is one of Historical temple of the Himachal.

Prashar lake: - The lake well known for the Hindu temple and the historical importance when Pandavas returning with lord kamrunag Bhim one of the Pandavas made this lake after Kurukshetra fight. The temple is old and beautiful made on the spiritual valley of mandi the lake situated 50 Km east of mandi at the top of the mountain hills the temple was created by King ben Shen who made this temple when he saw rishi in the form of stone mediating for years. The king sends the beautiful artist who made this temple with a single deodar tree take 12 years to complete. This place is so quiet and relaxing that you can easily spend whole day chilling with sunlight due to low temperature and high altitude this place is cold and can goes -3* Celsius in winter morning (-10*to 20* Celsius at night).

Direction:- If you are from other state and want to visit the beautiful valley of Mandi then pack your bag. You can easily reach mandi by taking take buses from Chandigarh to Mandi(Bus stand)or by car easily following the route of Bilaspur and then turning toward mandi or by Google maps by navigation on the road .After you enter the state and reach near bus stand your next call must be follow the instruction on board at the top or ask the locals in Hindi(make sure try to communicate with young ones) Then after reaching mandi you take a turn to Prashar Lake then after that the journey is 3 hour long so make sure eat before proceeding toward lake because after 10-15 miles there will no shops providing foods make sure visit in proper time like in winter it might we snow there so your car can't reach there and even at monsoon the chances of landslides are high. Stay safe and rode slow. 

Special: - 

If you are a Hindu, then it's special because this are fact that prove Mahabharata and its existence and other special think about this lake is floating island 20 metered long which change its direction every month so slow you have to wait days to watch a movement in direction it rotates in whole lake. Some local place says it's a wheel of Kaliyuga when it will stop moving or it vanish earth will we destroyed. The lake has best of views in evening and mostly cover with clouds and fog. The water inside lake is even mystery because no one knows from where it come from. There is a trek also if you are lover of travelling and adventure then there is trek all the way from Baghi which is around 38-40 km from Mandi.
